Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Work: The scope of work includes the plumbing services and repairs as agreed upon between the client and the plumbing contractor. Any additional work requested by the client may be subject to separate terms and pricing.

2. Pricing and Payment: The client agrees to pay the agreed-upon price for the plumbing services rendered. A detailed invoice will be provided, outlining the cost of labor, materials, and any additional charges. Payment terms and due dates will be specified on the invoice. Late payments may be subject to penalties or interest charges as outlined in the invoice or agreed upon separately.

3. Changes and Variations: Any changes or variations to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing between the client and the plumbing contractor. Additional charges may apply for any extra work requested by the client.

4. Warranty: The plumbing contractor will provide a warranty for the services performed and materials used, as specified in the contract or invoice. The warranty period may vary depending on the nature of the work and will be communicated to the client. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials but does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, or external factors beyond the contractor’s control.

5. Liability: The plumbing contractor shall take reasonable precautions during the execution of the work. However, they shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from circumstances beyond their control, such as faulty existing plumbing, unforeseen structural issues, or acts of nature.

6. Permits and Approvals: The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, approvals, or licenses required for the plumbing work. The plumbing contractor will cooperate with the client in providing the necessary documentation and information as needed.

7. Completion Time: The plumbing contractor will make reasonable efforts to complete the work within the agreed-upon timeframe. However, unforeseen circumstances or delays beyond their control may affect the completion time. The client will be notified promptly of any delays and provided with revised timelines where necessary.

8. Termination: Either party may terminate the contract or services with written notice in case of a breach of contract, failure to fulfill obligations, or any other justifiable reason. Termination shall not relieve the client of their obligation to pay for services rendered up until the termination date.

9. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to keep any confidential information shared during the course of the project confidential and not disclose it to any third party without prior consent, unless required by law.

10. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute or disagreement, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to mediation or arbitration as agreed upon by both parties.

11. Late Payment Fees: If a payment is late, the client will be charged a 10% late payment fee. This fee helps cover administrative costs resulting from the delay. The details of this fee will be outlined in the invoice and quote. By accepting completed work, the client acknowledges the need to fulfill payment within the agreed timeframe to avoid incurring these fees.

These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the client and the plumbing contractor. By engaging the plumbing services, the client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
